9th Apr 2026, New Delhi : Radisson Blu New Delhi Dwarka has announced the appointment of Ranjan Banerjee as its new General Manager. A seasoned hospitality professional, he brings over three decades of extensive industry experience to the role.
Ranjan has built a distinguished career spanning more than 30 years, including over 12 years in General Manager positions with leading global hospitality brands such as IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Sayaji Hotels and IHCL (Taj Hotels & Resorts ). He now joins the Radisson Hotel Group, bringing with him a proven track record in operational excellence, revenue growth and team leadership.
He began his career with InterContinental Eros New Delhi and went on to hold key leadership roles at Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah, Oman, Soaltee Crown Plaza Kathmandu, Crowne Plaza Gurugram, Crowne Plaza New Delhi Rohini, and Crowne Plaza New Delhi Okhla, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening market positioning, enhancing guest engagement and driving profitability.
His professional journey also includes his tenure with Marriott International as Head of Asset Management for JW Marriott Kolkata and Courtyard by Marriott Siliguri, followed by his role as General Manager at Jaisalmer Marriott Resort & Spa. Additionally, he has led Sayaji Hotel Indore and held leadership roles with IHCL across marquee properties including Taj Lands End Mumbai, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa Andamans, Taj Chia Kutir Darjeeling, and Tajview Agra – IHCL SeleQtions, where he delivered strong performance outcomes, including consistent year-on-year growth in RGI, ARI, guest experience and team engagement.
Recognized for his people-centric leadership approach, Ranjan is known for building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of inclusion and collaboration. His contributions have been acknowledged globally, including being featured among the Top 100 Great People Managers by Forbes in 2019 and 2020, along with accolades such as the Helen Keller Award for Diversity & Inclusion.
